ED Visa
ABOUT ED VISA AND ED VISA EXTENSIONS
The ED visa at a language Institute is not same as those with school. You cannot get a 6 months or 12 months visa at once.
You are permitted to stay 90 days when you get ED Visa at first.
If you want to extend your visa, you need to inform us 40 days in advance of completing the course because we need to prepare the documents for you. (We have to send the doccuments to MOE before you finish the course 30 days)
Every time you extend, you need to pay 1,900THB at Immigration office.

STEP OF APPLYING ED VISA
@Annyeong School : Fill in our application form to prepare document.
@Ministry of Education (MOE) : Applicants must get approval letter from MOE before applying ED Visa.
@Immigration Bureau : When approved, you can apply Non - Immigrant ED Visa to Immigration Bureau at Changwattana or Thai embassy in your home country.

OPTION 1 : APPLY IN BANGKOK
Enter Thailand with tourist visa or visa-exempt and visit our school. Make sure you have at least 45 days before the visa expired.
The ED visa application process takes about 45-60 days, depending on your nationality and current situation at the Ministry of Education and the Immigration Bureau.
Contact our school to apply for a course for the ED visa.
Fill out the application forms we sent you. (from our school and the Ministry of Education)
Visit our school with your passport, 12 passport photos and pay for the course.
Wait 2-4 weeks for the approval letter from the Ministry of Education.
When approved, you need to go the Immigration Bureau at Changwattana to apply for the ED visa on arranged date.
Wait for approval from the Immigration Bureau. (2 weeks)

OPTION 2 : APPLY IN YOUR COUNTRY
Nationals of certain countries are required to apply for a visa only at the Royal Thai Embassy in their home/residence country or at the designated Thai Embassy.
Therefore, travellers are adivised to contact the nearest Thai Embassy to find out where they may apply for a visa to Thailand before departure.
You must have passport or travel document with validity more than 6 months.

Contact our school to apply for a course for the ED visa.
Print and fill out the application forms we sent you. (from our school and the Ministry of Education) and pay for the course.
Scan and send documents to us by E-mail.

- Our course payment slip
Send documents to us by mail.
- The Ministry of Education application forms
- The copies of your passport (personal information page and all pages that have stamps) with your signature on every page.
- 12 passport photos
Wait 2-4 weeks for the approval letter from the Ministry of Education. (We will send original approval letter to you by mail)
Visit the Thai embassy or consulate in your home country to apply for the Non-Immigrant ED visa.
When approved from the embassy, enter Thailand with your ED visa and visit us with your passport within the first 7 days to verify your visa with the Ministry of Education.
